Acceptable Use Policy

The recipient-protection rules that apply to the mailerapi website and any future email-delivery service.

Last updated: September 23, 2026

This policy supplements our Terms of Use and is designed to protect recipients, networks, and the reputation of all mailerapi senders.

1. Permission requirements

You may send only to recipients who requested the relevant message or with whom you have another lawful, documented basis for the specific transactional communication. Consent for one category of email does not authorize unrelated promotions.

Purchased, rented, shared, scraped, harvested, appended, guessed, or otherwise third-party-acquired lists are not permitted.

2. Prohibited use

You may not use mailerapi to send or facilitate:

  • unsolicited bulk email, cold outreach, or spam;
  • phishing, credential theft, impersonation, fraud, or deceptive content;
  • malware, malicious links, or content that compromises a person or system;
  • unlawful content or content that infringes another person's rights;
  • messages with deceptive sender information, subject lines, or routing data;
  • mail intended to evade filters, suppression lists, complaints, or opt-outs; or
  • activity prohibited by the AWS Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.

3. Sending requirements

Senders must:

  • use accurate sender identity and authenticate every sending domain;
  • maintain records showing how and when recipients requested the email;
  • include a working, conspicuous unsubscribe method in non-transactional messages;
  • honor opt-outs promptly and never send again unless the person gives fresh consent;
  • remove hard bounces and complaints immediately;
  • monitor engagement, bounce, and complaint signals and stop problematic sending; and
  • protect credentials and prevent unauthorized use of the account.

4. Monitoring and enforcement

We may investigate sending patterns, request evidence of consent, restrict volume, quarantine a campaign, suspend sending, or terminate access when we reasonably believe this policy has been violated or recipient trust is at risk. Severe abuse may be stopped immediately.

5. Reporting abuse

Send abuse reports to abuse@mailerapi.lat. For privacy questions, contact privacy@mailerapi.lat.
